SOLIX is Humminbird's premium fish finder and chartplotter series, positioned above the popular HELIX line and alongside the newer APEX platform. SOLIX units feature large touchscreen displays (10 to 15 inches), the full MEGA imaging suite including MEGA Side Imaging, MEGA Down Imaging, and Dual Spectrum CHIRP, and comprehensive networking for multi-display and live sonar setups.

The SOLIX series is designed for serious anglers who demand the highest image quality and the ability to run multiple sonar views simultaneously on a large, high-resolution screen. The 15-inch SOLIX model offers one of the largest fish finder displays available, providing ample space for three or four-way split screens without sacrificing readability. Cross-Touch interface combines touchscreen with physical keypad controls for reliable operation in all conditions.

SOLIX units are fully compatible with MEGA Live live sonar, Humminbird 360 Imaging, and the full Minn Kota integration suite including i-Pilot Link control from the SOLIX display. Ethernet networking allows multiple SOLIX and HELIX units to share sonar sources across the boat, and NMEA 2000 handles engine data, heading sensors, and other networked instruments.

Compared to the HELIX series, SOLIX offers faster processing, larger screen options, more sophisticated networking, and additional input ports for connecting multiple transducers and accessories. The tradeoff is significantly higher cost. Many anglers run a SOLIX at the bow for primary fishing use while keeping a more affordable HELIX at the console for navigation and backup sonar.
